Daymay de Francisco brings over 19 years of experience as a NICU and neonatal/pediatric transport nurse, and is the founder of Your Tiny Starts. A Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Child Passenger Safety Technician, she has taught hundreds of parents, caregivers, and healthcare professionals across South Florida — and appeared on local television discussing infant CPR and newborn safety. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she helps families feel prepared and confident as they welcome their baby home.

What you will learn

Inside the class

Recognizing a medical emergency

Learn the signs and symptoms of cardiac arrest in infants, how to check for breathing, and how to know when every second counts.

High-quality CPR technique

How to position a baby for CPR, deliver effective chest compressions and rescue breaths, and the correct breaths-to-compressions ratio for infants — following American Heart Association guidelines.

Choking relief & staying calm

Hands-on choking relief techniques for infants, plus how to stay calm and act fast when it matters most.

Car seat safety

Practical car seat safety tips from a Child Passenger Safety Technician, so you feel ready and confident bringing your baby home.
