On Sunday, May 31st, Mat & Maternity joined the Humane Society of Greater Miami for the launch party of their newly relaunched veterinary clinic: Wags & Wellness Care Clinic, at 16101 West Dixie Highway in North Miami Beach.

It was exactly the kind of afternoon that makes this community feel like home, with craft beer from Beat Culture Brewery, adoptable dogs looking for their people, free microchips for owned pets, raffle prizes, and a lot of tail-wagging energy from the moment the gates opened.

Mat & Maternity Brings Free Postpartum Pilates to the Coconut Grove Library

On Friday, May 29th, Mat & Maternity (Coral Gables’ prenatal and postpartum fitness studio) hosted a free Momma Mat Pilates class at the Coconut Grove Branch Library (2875 McFarlane Road, Miami, FL 33133), in partnership with the Miami-Dade Public Library System.

The session was open to the community: moms at every stage (pregnant, fresh postpartum, a few months in) brought their mats, their babies, and themselves. We moved together for an hour, worked through the core and pelvic floor foundations of Momma Mat Pilates, and took our time. Because that’s what happens when you have babies on the mat with you. You slow down, you laugh, you connect.
